1. Information we collect

Identity & contact information you give us when you request a quote, contact sales, register a machine, or sign up for our software: name, business name, role, country/city, email, WhatsApp number, and shipping address.

Order and machine data: the products you have purchased, machine serial numbers, software activation keys, warranty status, and template-library usage (which device cuts you run). This is needed to deliver the cloud-updated template library, validate licensing, and provide support.

Usage and diagnostic data: standard web logs (IP address, browser type, referring page), and on the machine software, anonymous diagnostics about cut jobs, errors, and firmware versions so our engineers can troubleshoot remotely under our 24/7 support service.

We do not sell or buy personal data. We do not run advertising trackers that profile you across the wider web.

2. How we use your information

To respond to sales enquiries and deliver products you order — including shipping to Egypt and the wider MENA region within the 3–7 working-day window referenced in our FAQs.

To deliver and improve the cloud template library that pushes daily updates of new device cut files (iPhone, Samsung, MacBook, AirPods, smartwatches, PS5 and more) over Wi-Fi to your machine.

To honour warranty terms, including the 1–2 year machine warranty and shelf-life guarantees on hydrogel and UV films.

To provide remote support, training, and on-site installation; and to keep you informed about firmware updates, recalls, and material lot information.

For legitimate business operations: accounting, fraud prevention, and compliance with Egyptian and applicable export-control regulations.

3. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses a small number of essential cookies (for language preference, theme, and login session on the admin area) and privacy-respecting analytics that aggregate traffic patterns without tracking individuals across other sites.

You can clear cookies in your browser at any time. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the language switcher and admin login from working.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share information only with service providers that we need to operate the business: payment processors, shipping carriers, cloud hosting (for the template library), and email delivery. These providers receive only what they need to do their job, and they are bound by confidentiality.

We will disclose information when required by law, court order, or to enforce our Terms of Service or protect users.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

5. Data retention

Sales and warranty records are retained for the duration of the business relationship plus the period required by Egyptian tax and commercial law (typically up to 5 years).

Machine diagnostic data is kept in rolling form long enough to support remote troubleshooting and improve software stability — typically 12 months.

You can request deletion of your account or contact records at any time, subject to legitimate retention requirements.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to certain uses, and to receive a portable copy of the data you have provided.

7. Security

We protect data with industry-standard measures: encrypted transit (HTTPS), access controls on our admin systems, and least-privilege handling of customer data. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep written incident-response procedures.

8. International transfers

XTEAM operates across MENA and globally. When data is transferred outside Egypt for cloud hosting or support, we apply appropriate safeguards and use providers with recognised security standards.

9. Children

XTEAM products and services are sold to businesses and adult professionals. Our website and software are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
