Hydrogel, glass, thermal wrap & skin film FAQ
Hydrogel is a soft, flexible TPU film that conforms to curved screens, self-heals minor scratches and feels close to the raw display. Tempered glass is rigid, harder against impact and gives that classic glassy click. Locally hydrogel is also called اسكرينة جيلاتين and is the most-asked screen protector in Egypt.
Thermal wrap is a heat-shrink decorative film that wraps the entire phone using a hairdryer or heat gun. It comes as transparent mobile skin, matte mobile skin, leather, or carbon fiber mobile skin. It’s a fast upsell at the counter and one of the highest-margin items a shop can run.
Carbon fiber mobile skin is more scratch-resistant, has a sportier look, and stays new-looking for longer. Leather mobile skin develops a personal patina over time — most premium customers prefer that aged look. Both wrap easily on our cutter plotter from the same SKU library.
Yes — both as ready-cut Privacy Screen variants for popular models and as raw film cut on demand on our laser. Privacy / فيميه protectors limit the viewing angle so only the user looking straight on can see the screen, popular with executives and finance staff.
Standard hydrogel TPU films have a recommended shelf life of 18 months when stored cool, dry and away from direct sunlight. UV-cure films should be used within 12 months for best curing performance. Both come with sealed packaging and lot codes.
